El próximo Tokyo Game Show se celebrará durante los días 22, 23 y 24 de septiembre en el Nippon Convention Center del Makuhari Messe,. Con el reciente anuncio sobre el cambio de formato del E3, parece que se va a convertir en el próximo referente en cuanto a eventos de este tipo.

En esta ocasión Sony contará con más demos jugables de PlayStation 3 que en el pasado E3, con el apoyo de muchas compañías como Capcom, Namco o Sega, que tendrán en sus stands a títulos jugables como Devil May Cry 4, Tekken 6, Sonic the Hedgehog o Virtua Fighter 5 sin olvidar de algunas de las grandes promesas de la nueva consola de Sony, como Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots, Final Fantasy XIII o Gran Turismo.

En el caso de la consola de Microsoft, se centrarán en ofrecer nuevos datos y tráilers en una conferencia anterior al evento (20 Septiembre) para calentar motores y mostrar algunos de sus RPG más esperados, como Blue Dragon, Cudlcept Saga o Lost Odyssey sin olvidarse de la exclusividad parcial en la nueva generación de Pro Evolution Soccer 6 o grandes promesas como Too Human o Lost Planet: Extreme Condition.

Nintendo por su parte realizará una conferencia los días 14 y 15 y no asistirá a la fería domo ya es habitual en ella desde el SpaceWorld, pero si estarán algunos títulos de Wii como Red Steel o Trauma Center: Second Opinión.

PlayStation 2 tendrán también una gran cobertura, con por ejemplo God Hand y Tales of Destiny para la actual consola domestica de Sony.

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core o Lumines II para PSP

Castlevania: Portait of Ruin, Deep Labyrinth y Tales of the tempest para NDS, por citar algunos.
